The Simorgh Challenge competition was organized by a number of students of the Faculty of Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Science and with the help of some professors and scientific associations of this faculty, especially the Computer Science Association, with the generous help of the faculty.

The Simorgh challenge was held in the mentioned faculty in two days and 28 teams and a total of 74 people registered in this course. The first challenge, which included two descriptive tests of creative questions and some topics from all three branches of mathematics, statistics and computer science, was held on 29 April 1403. Also, the second challenge (practical part) included questions that the participants had to program to get a score.

The team nature of the challenge, the attractive and differently written questions, the unique grading process, as well as the measures that the scientific team of the challenge had thought of to add interest to the tests, and the possibility of influencing the scores of other teams during the test, made this challenge a pleasant experience for the participants. And be memorable.

The closing ceremony of the first round of the Simorgh Challenge was held on Monday, June 21, 1403. In this ceremony, in addition to talking about the Simorgh Challenge and presenting the statistics of the competition by the representative of the scientific team of the challenge, Dr. Eftekhari, the Vice President of Research of the Faculty, Dr. Nazimi, the Vice President of the Iranian Informatics Association and the Head of the Data Science Department of Poya Company (regarding the activities of this Company) and Dr. Ganjtabesh as the consultant professor of Simorgh Challenge. After the speeches, the efforts of Pooya Company, the Dean of the Faculty (Dr. Mohammad Baqer Asadi), and Mr. Dr. Nazimi were appreciated by the organizers of the Simorgh Challenge. Finally, the prizes that were prepared for the top teams with the support of Pooya Company and Iran Informatics Association were presented to them. Also, plaques and memorials were considered for all teams.

With the closing ceremony, the office of the first round of the Simorgh challenges series ended. The students who organized the event hope that the Simorgh series of challenges will continue for years to come under the support and cooperation of the university/faculty/faculty, professors, students and other sponsors.

The Faculty of Science and the Faculty of Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Science express their gratitude to the designers and organizers of the Simorgh Challenge.
