جلسه شوراي عمومي بنياد حاميان دانشكدگان علوم برگزار شد

According to the Public Relations Office of the Faculty of Science, the General Assembly of the Faculty of Science Support Foundation was held on Monday, September 15, 2025, at the Piralahi Hall of the Faculty, with the participation of more than half of the Foundation’s members and under the supervision of Dr. Nasser Gholami, representative of the University of Tehran Support Foundation.

During the meeting, Dr. Majid Hamzeh Lou, CEO of the Foundation, presented a comprehensive report on the Foundation’s activities in 2024, including financial statements and other initiatives. The session was chaired by Dr. Kenanian (Chairman), with Dr. Shakeri (Vice-Chairman) and Ms. Amir Atashani (Secretary).

At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Reza Ameri, Dean of the Faculty of Science, delivered a brief speech addressing current challenges and the Foundation’s plans to overcome them. He emphasized that through collaboration and active participation of faculty members and staff, significant progress could be made toward achieving both short-term and long-term goals.

Dr. Ameri also discussed the importance of endowment (waqf) as a means to build external relations, attract philanthropists, and support the development of laboratories, dormitories, and facilities.

Following his remarks, attendees shared their views and suggestions for enhancing the Foundation’s performance:

• Dr. Bakhshandeh thanked Dr. Hamzeh Lou for his report and emphasized the need for more communication and transparency through digital platforms, emails, and SMS to increase member engagement.
• Dr. Seyed Jafari stressed the importance of broader and clearer public outreach.
• Dr. Benezhad highlighted the effectiveness of face-to-face engagement for donor attraction and expressed his faculty’s willingness to actively participate and serve as a role model for other departments.

Participants then engaged in further discussion on various topics related to the Foundation’s development.

Later, Dr. Hamzeh Lou presented a detailed overview of the Foundation’s activities and financial projections for the upcoming year.
Dr. Gholami also shared insights on the overall strategies of the University of Tehran Support Foundation, international philanthropy benchmarks, and examples of successful charitable organizations, emphasizing that continuous collaboration and regular meetings could lead to valuable achievements.

In conclusion, Dr. Ameri expressed his hope that, with divine grace, the Foundation’s financial projections for the current year would be successfully realized, leading to significant progress and resolution of ongoing challenges.

Finally, as stipulated in the Foundation’s bylaws, the annual election of the auditor was held. Following the vote, Ms. Ghodrati was elected as the primary auditor, and Dr. Farah Sarrashtedari as the alternate auditor.
