On the first anniversary of the of the death of Dr. Ebrahim Ghaseminejad, the professor of paleontology at the school of geology, his memory was commemorated with a ceremony on the 30^th of Azar.

In his prolific career, Dr. Ebrahim Ghaseminejad has written and translated many scientific articles, edited the journal of Geoperssia, established the palynology laboratory of the University of Tehran, as well as the title of exemplary geologist in 1394 and trained excellent students in the field of paleontology.

In this ceremony, his colleagues Dr. Tavakoli, Dr. Nozaeem and Dr. Valizadeh explained his scientific and moral character. Also, the head of the college of science, Dr. Niknam, in his speech, explained various aspects of his character. His son also thanked the faculty and students, and described the character of his noble father. Playing videos and talking to his students were other parts of the ceremony.
